This beach wedding comes to us from photographer Kelli Nixon, and I’m thrilled she sent it, as I know this wedding firsthand. Not only did bride Mary wear a super wedding dress, but her apple green shoes and flirty birdcage veil captured her sassiness perfectly. Bridesmaids wore apple green dresses, each with a rhinestone brooch (gift from Mary) that helped create cleavage security while adding a little bling. Having your name embroidered into your dress is the perfect way to include a little “something blue” into the day. The sweet DIY birdcage centerpieces were from Michael’s and Save On Crafts and several have since been repurposed as accessories in Mary’s niece’s nursery. Tan suits worn by Blaine and his groomsmen not only complemented the bridesmaids dresses, but looked right at home at the Seabrook Island Club. Tyson, the couple’s handsome dog, loved sporting his flower lei. Felt like a million bucks, he told me.
